Bringing New Meaning to Kiddie Cocktail

So... Parents Magazine had a little ditty about a company call Kid Kupz. They say... "This truly unique product, endorsed by a renowned pediatrician and parents alike, will eliminate the days of chasing children from room to room at the mention of taking their medicine. KidKupz™ makes taking medication a fun, easy, and tasty experience." Ummm.... ok. So for 7 bucks you can buy a box full of medicine cups with sugared rims or you can wet the rim with a lime... errr... water and dip it sugar yourself. Cheers kid!

For the Fashionista

Saw this blurb on the Today Show this morning in between my spackling and painting. At Fashionology your little fashionista can go wild designing her own gear. Or... you can take matters into your own hand and design one for them. I admit, it's fun. ✿

Lemonade!

cardboardesign is one of those stores that makes you wonder, "why didn't I think of that?" Well... someone did and apparently they are making bank. This adorable lemonade/advice stand runs a mere $92.00! Yep. You had better be selling some kick ass lemonade! Frankly, I would have drooled all over this as a kid. We set up shop whenever we had the chance. I am sure I would've made more money had I decorated this fancy piece of cardboard. Check out their site. cardboardesigns has everything from a rocket to a drawing table and chairs made out of sturdy cardboard. Yep, cardboard. Well... at least you can't get pissed when they draw all over it.

Have a Crafty Weekend!

I thought I'd share a fun site for craft ideas. Kids Craft Weekly is a great little newsletter that pops into my inbox every so often. Amber creates a theme and then creates crafts to go with that theme. By theme, I mean glitter, alphabet, etc. Some crafts are involved, but most are pretty easy. Just goes to show you how little you need to keep the kids busy.

Go Forth & Buy!

Old Navy has launched their new coupon site. It features those creepy plastic people from the commercials, but whatever. Frankly, I think they should just have a coupon and give it out, but they insist you hunt and peck for it like you've got all the time in the world. Old Navy always has good deals, especially on basics, but I like really GREAT deals. Soo.... maybe I'll find one here. Not sure, yet, but I think it's a first come first find basis. Just go there and hunt for yourself!

I ♥ Anything Wireless

This is quite cool. A WIRELESS memory card for your camera! I have to look into a bit more, but I think I'm in love. Check out all the options over at Eye-Fi.

Keep Your Germs to Yourself!

Each of the kids found a FLIPPER in their stocking this year. Flipper makes the most adorable toothbrush holders. I was a bit skeptical because of the suction cups. I don't get along with anything that has suction cups attached to it. I have to say, though, that these things stick! What makes these so great it that it's really to take out your toothbrush and put it back. You just pull it out and push it right back in. No more stuffing everyones toothbrush in a cup. Ewww... Plus, it's one more thing off the counter. Good-bye clutter.

Trashy!

Yes, I was searching for a cute auto trash can. Don't judge. Oh, and I found one. The Mod Mobile carries an unusually large selection of trash 'bags' for your car. Cute ones, no less. Sometimes I feel like I live in my car. I use my totes to try and keep things under wraps, but I have my fair share of straw wrappers floating around. We have actually set up a trash can in our garage so that I can easily transfer my trash. Sad, I know. Again, don't judge. Once I get a fancy trash bag from The Mod Mobile my car will be pretty again. Now.... which pattern do I choose?

Can You Spell CUTE?

I am a HUGE fan of MiChiMa! All things felt. I ♥ felt. I also know how hard it is to cut into tiny pieces. I made a little tooth pillow for my oldest and it drove me nuts. Who knew that crap was hard to cut? Anyway.... I think anything in this shop would make an adorable 1st birthday gift.

A Little Funk on the Finger

I'm not a big jewelry person. Never have been. Probably never will be. Every now and then something funky catches my eye. Take this ring. It's silly, but different. Frankly, it's cool. Everything at Boulder Glass Monkey is handmade in Colorado.

Mmmmm....

Now why the heck don't they sell cute stuff like this in the baking aisle? The ladies over at the Goody Blog posted this yesterday. They are in some kind of cupcake frenzy over there. But, aren't we all? I love cupcakes! No knife required. The Cupcake Kit comes with everything you need to crank out some fancy little cakes of your own. This adorable box of 250 cupcake liners included! Now, go forth and BAKE!

A New Kind of Bedtime Story

Art is a big thing in our house. We go thru paper and staples like some people go thru toilet paper. My girls LOVE to write stories and make books. Each of the girls now has their very own 'published' book thanks to Tikatok. Log in, upload and voila... you have your very own hardcover. We have started a tradition of making one each year to mark their 'progress'. How fun will it be to look back in a few years and read these great stories?

I'm Bored...

Ok... first... you need to squint to see this picture. All the more reason to head over to her shop on ETSY. I have a small addiction to buying handmade goods and this is another seller not to be missed!

Check out this fabulous little ETSY shop. Home of this and many other cute chalk mats. My kids love chalk mats! We had one for each of the girls stashed away in the diaper bag at all times. Granted, we ate out a lot! I was happy not to cook and the kids were happy to color. When it's time for the food, just flip the mat over and you have an adorable little placemat. Why not grab a crayon roll while your shopping and throw a couple pieces of paper in your bag. You may get dessert!
